OVERVIEW

Application

XLPE insulated power cables has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable.And it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature.

lt can be laid with no drop restriction.

Various of flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cable can be manufactured with three technology(peroxide,silance and irradiation cross-linking).

The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoking low-halogen,low-smoking halogen free, and non-smoking non-halogen and three classes of A,B,C.

Standard

IEC60502,other standards,GB,BS,VDE,AS/NZS,ICEA,JIS,allowed too.

Product Properties

The long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductive core is not more than 90℃.

During short circuit(max.lasting time is not more than 5 seconds),the max.temperature of cable conductor is not more than 250℃.

XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resisting,

environmental stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion.

Note: armor of single core power cable should be non-magnetic material or the structure,which will reduce the magnetic loss.

CONSTRUCTION

1.Conductor：Copper/Aluminium, Class 1, Class 2 and Class 5 as per IEC60228,

2.insulation:XLPE/TR-XLPE

3.fillers:Non-hygroscopic polypropylene(PP) yarn

4.wrapping tape:Non-woven fabric tape, or other similar tape

5.Inner sheath:Lapped tape bedding, or extruded PVC

6.Steel tape armor

7.outer sheath: PVC/ LSZH/ MDPE/ HDPE
