OVERVIEW
Application
XLPE insulated power cables have a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable. It is with simple construction, higher operating of long term temperature and can be laid with no drop restriction.
Other features, such as flame retardant and fire resistance, are also available. The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoking low-halogen,low-smoking halogen free, and non-smoking non-halogen and three classes of A,B,C.
Standard
IE C60502,other standards such as GB, BS, VDE, AS/NZS, ICEA, JIS also available.
Product Properties
The long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductor is not more than 90℃.
During short circuit (≤5 seconds),the max. temperature of cable conductor is not more than 250℃.
XLPE cable has the features of high electric strength, mechanical strength, high ageing resistance, environmental stress resistance and anti-chemical corrosion.
