OVERVIEW
Copper Clad Steel (CCS) is a composite conductor with a steel core coated in copper. It combines the strength of steel with the conductivity of copper, making it cost-effective.
Application:
Copper-clad steel wire consists of stranded copper-clad monofilament and finds extensive applications in grounding and lightning protection, electrostatic grounding protection, protective grounding, and as the grounding wire for electrical and petrochemical systems. It is utilized in various areas such as high-frequency coaxial cables, electrified railways, metro systems, railways, airports, and network communication. These wires and cables are offered with varying copper thickness, providing options for 30% and 40% electrical productivity.
